Something to Wear

I took a little time to make a few things to wear. After losing 25 lbs, and taking in the sides of my tops, I was ready for something that fit!

After picking up a new size in the cute McCalls pattern, I decided to make each of the four pattern views. The beige cotton knit was in my stash, and I ordered the other two cotton knits online.

The cotton collar piece is something I have had – according to the package date – since 1978!! Hmm, must be time to use it! I did an alteration to the neckline, using the piece and drawing on the pattern tissue and love how it turned out!

Got a custom order for some tote bags, so had to get busy with those. Will sew up the 4th view next week.
